About

After getting an MFA, I spent a couple years as an artist until accidentally becoming a programmer. Bringing the work ethic and creative rigor from my art background into programming turned out to be far more valuable than I thought.

I spent several years as a designer and programmer before taking a tech job at an ad agency. The people in charge of that agency got tired of me complaining about having to build bad creative, so they shuffled things around a bit and put me in charge of it.

Finding myself in the creative department, I quickly honed my design skills a bit further and discovered I had a knack for both writing copy and conceptualizing ideas. It felt like I was finally in the right place.

I love every part of the creative process and am excited jumping in and getting my hands dirty at just about any point along the way.
